3D Visualisation update

In what will soon be a major milestone achievement, the 3D visualisation component of the VVG portal was presented at the International Association of Hydrogeologists Congress (IAH 2013) held in Perth last week (20-25th September 2013). While the new tool is still to be acitivated via the website, the presentation featured a screen capture video of the web-based 3D tool in action.

 

The prototype is an outcome of the ongoing collaboration between the VVG project and QUT's Institute for Future Environments, more background on the tool can be found in the conference presentation
